I'm not but I don't think its going to be a good World cup. US and Mexico is not the right venue, IMO. It should have been a major football nation in Europe.

Some games will be played at 3-4 AM (EU time) lol. Will probably be less European viewers for sure.

I think some will but there will be a lot of empty seats and the atmosphere won't be great.

I won't be going...
I don't think it's going to be a great event. They fired and reassigned almost everyone that was working on this and we pretty much have 3 months to figure out event security & logistics, even though we needed about a year++ for that.

what do you mean they had since 2018 to get everything ready since they got elected enough time?

Everyone got fired and re-hired (or lost) in 2025........... That's the problem. DHS was responsible for this but the entire org got shuffled around, and a bunch of other workers focused on world cup were also fired/re-hired & shuffled.
We fucked up majorly and are going to speed run the final plans with a bunch of people who don't really know what's going on, based on the plans other people in the agencies were planning to do for last few years...
Oh also doing all this during a gov shutdown, without proper funds 100% secured, and an ongoing war
this is going to be an interesting world cup for sure.
Last I checked there were thousands of service contracts still in limbo
