The process was quick and easy. even with text based reviews on all but one of them(harder), and getting all of them removed within a week.
Look, one of them was a legitimate review, and the rest were technically policy violations. I know this, and also know the process of getting in touch with a real human at google is about the same as it would take me to just pay the man to do it for my opportunity cost.

Proof is in the pudding on this one. If you believe the cost of removal will cost less than the impact of your business, and your ability to get new reviews, then probably pay the man
