Well, I hardly ever post anything in this section because I’m a bit embarrassed about my dishes, but this time I decided to just “show off” my humble lentil stew with pieces of sausage. Unfortunately, it’s already too late to get whole chili peppers to add to it, but it still tastes really good :3

You could say so, yeah—although a friend here in Mexico told me it looked like something from Indian cuisine haha (he’s the kind of person who cares more about how food looks than how it tastes).

Man, with all this hearty meat talk I’m suddenly craving a steaming bowl of ramen – the broth really beats the chill. If you’re still on that lentil‑sausage stew, a splash of sherry vinegar at the end adds a nice bite, and a mug of ginger‑lemongrass tea on the side doesn’t hurt either. Anyone else whipping up something quick to fight this cold?
