Bytes Bonus Days - Omniscient - Apr 16, 2026
We are officially in Bytes Bonus Days. HF is turning 19 years old on April 21st.
Base levels for Bytes have increased for thread creation 10->25 Bytes. For post replies (40 character minimum required) it's increased from 1->5 Bytes.
Those in usergroups with multipliers get that on top of it.
Example is L33t is 1.5x and Ub3r is 2x. So an Ub3r creating a thread will get 50 Bytes. Then those who are in the custom groups Academy or Hackers have higher multipliers.
Please note multiplier is based on your DISPLAY GROUP. You can alter that here: https://hackforums.net/usercp.php?action=usergroups

This is pretty sick. I am a part of those multiplier groups and I just made a thread and got 125 bytes for it.
Good motivation to get my activity back up again after a 3 month hiatus. Hope to see some activity these days! :)

Where can I find the flip? I wanted to go for the flip award but I cannot find it for the life of me.
To keep on topic, this is wonderful Omnisicient! People earning bytes, and using it towards the Ecosystem benefits every single one of us making this such a High Quality Forums and it's been that way for years / Decade I've heard!
