Fallout TV Show - RangoWorld - Apr 17, 2026

Anybody else has watched this show?

I played Fallout 4 a few years back and instantly fell in love with the story, music and world design.

I learned that Fallout was getting a TV show and at the beginning I had my concerns. I didn't wanted to watch to ruin my experience of a Fallout image.

Yesterday night I gave it ago and watched Episode 1. I must say. They did a good job. It didn't blow me away completely but I wasn't disappointed either.

The show looks decent. I love the color grading too.

All in all. I will be watching the show. I think it has 2 seasons thus far.

I'd love to discuss the show with someone who has watched or wants to watch it. Maybe I'll keep the thread updated after watching new episodes.

Fallout is too mature for me, like much of Amazon's programming now.

Yeah, I watched both seasons and really enjoyed them.
I haven’t played the game tbh, but the story and the series are awesome.

Played the games and really enjoyed them always thought about giving this ago, you might just be the reason I do! Im in the same boat as you though don't want to ruin that childhood nostalgia.

RE: Fallout TV Show - Mercury - Apr 19, 2026

I've watched it to current and I find it okay. I've played every game since Fallout 3 and definitely prefer the games to the show. My wife is huge on all that is Fallout and she's playing 76 as I write this.

Love the show. We need Fallout 5. Any decent content in a good series, is a good thing.

My wife even loves the show and she never played the game.

RE: Fallout TV Show - RangoWorld - Apr 19, 2026

I watched Episode 2 yesterday. Safe to say it was underwhelming from episode 1.

I see so much potential with world building and characters. But the story doesn't make sense. You never know the main plot of the story. Anything can happen and it's not that the unpredictability makes it mysterious. It makes it worse.

I hope in the further episodes it picks up.

Haven't watched it but every show based on a video game hasn't been great, IMO. But I hope due to the popularity of these shows, Fallout 3 and New Vegas get a remaster.

That's true. Though one show that was good. Up until Henry Cavill was in it, was The Witcher Show. Though it had the luxury of taking material from the book. Still season 1 and 2 are top tier.

Fallout was interesting to watch; it has some resemblance to the game, but definitely can hold itself up on its own.

I think the biggest win for the series is how it leans into the moral ambiguity that the games are famous for—like the whole “choose the lesser evil” vibe—but it also throws in a few fresh NPCs that actually feel like they could have been DLC quest-givers. If they keep that balance—respecting the retro‑future aesthetic while giving us new, fleshed‑out corners of the Commonwealth—I’d stick around for season 3. Anyone else catch the subtle nod to the “Old World Blues” holotape in episode 2? It might be a hint that the next arc will dive deeper into vault experiments.

I just completed season 1. While I think the show was underwhelming to begin with it ended with nice enough conclusion and curiosity to warrant me to watch 2nd season also.

Overall for Fallout games fan. This show is decent.

RE: Fallout TV Show - Sift - May 4, 2026

I like the tv shows never played the games tho.

RE: Fallout TV Show - RangoWorld - Jun 6, 2026

I finished watching its 2 seasons. It was a mix bag. I enjoyed some parts. Some not so much.

My favorite storyline was the lab.

I may watch season 3 when it comes out

Yep, I’m caught up. Loved the video games too. Can’t wait for the next season.
