Hiding the asyncrat cilent in Task Manager - SBxzjz - Apr 21, 2026

When asyncrat cilent is running with remote desktop or webcam features, the CPU usage in task manager is incredibly high, make it so obvious to find out, is there any way to lower the CPU usage without abolish the function? Or is there a way to hide its presence in task manager?

Are you experiencing the same issue with a specific bot, or does it happen with others?
This issue depends heavily on the bot's hardware.

This issue is happening with the other bots too (I tested it with my own PC), when plugin like remote desktop or webcam is on, the CPU increase to 10-15%, normally is just like 0.2%

Yes, thats pretty normal because requires a lot of HW resources.

Name the file something inconspicuous, use r77, or inject into a legitimate process.

Given it starts a separate thread for capturing these images, and then applies a video codec to each frame this should not be a surprise. Could it be better optimized? Sure.

Either way, I'm not sure why you are concerned. 10% CPU usage from an application is not going to raise suspicion or make a user want to terminate the process.

Surely the file is not named "AsyncClient.exe" on their desktop.

Either use assembly information to hide your process as under something legit or a rootkit
