Geoguessr - Mars edition ? - Hackers - Apr 21, 2026 Should we take geoguessr challenges to the skies? I was thinking of this... to highlight cool photos from the moon, Mars, etc. It would be too hard. Not enough landmarks. There are a few photos that internet sleuths could find, and several that would show up in Google Lens / search by image, but overall I think a Space Geoguessr series would probably be too difficult because most locations on Mars (or others) are only photographed once (per spot) close-up. Here's a starting set of photos that showcase some erosion, likely from fluids, from long ago on the planet Mars. I love some of the natural stone patterns in that first photo... Cobblestone-like surfaces can form over time, especially in dry environments. They are nifty and it's amazing how much we don't know about Mars. I hope we continue studying it. This next photo is better at highlighting erosion, most likely from a liquid, but it could also erode from wind & sand movements. The diagonal "line" is not as straight when zoomed in, and appears to be some sort of stream/creek from the past maybe?
