Growth Mindset - Your Experience? - RangoWorld - Apr 25, 2026 I was recommended a book "The Millionaire Fastlane" by MJ DeMarco. Reading this currently is making me reflect and a lot of ideas a resonating with me. I want to get rich and I want to grow in life. To have the financial freedom and means to live the life to the fullest while I'm still healthy and young. But like almost everyone. I need to work on my mindset and skills. That was the reason why even I picked this book. I really do want to change. Change my mindset and become a completely different person. For the better. But part of me thinks that I will be a different new person and it doesn't wanna let me current self go. Has anyone experienced this? At current point in life I just feel like enough is enough. I can't take all the BS life throws at me (specially those of my faults, bad decisions or mistakes). I want to get there at the end so badly and it's driving me almost insane right now. Is that even a good thing? Is this hunger? Or is this what insanity looks like? RE: Growth Mindset - Your Experience? - Wake - Apr 25, 2026 You don’t need to escape your current self. You need to start training your future self. That isn’t going to happen overnight. It takes small, repeatable actions over time. Real change comes from consistency, not intensity. Don’t let this journey for success turn into self-punishment. That's true. Well said. I have been trying to be consistent and showing up. Thinking that the journey is not a sprint but a marathon. But I guess I've been wanting it sooner (the success) than what it might take. I have a plan and a tentative timeframe / timeline. If you liked that book, you'd really enjoy Think & Grow Rich - Napoleon Hill It goes a lot into said mindset and also "Mastermind Collectives", essentially surrounding yourself with people with the same drive all with their own goals and aspirations but working together collectively sharing ideas, knowledge, skillsets to achieve said goals. Among many other things too, of course. RE: Growth Mindset - Your Experience? - Wake - Apr 25, 2026 (Apr 25, 2026 12:24 PM)RangoWorld Wrote: That's true. Well said. Remember that your plan might have hiccups and that isn't because your doing something wrong but because progress is rarely a straight line, take a setback as a opportunity to reevaluate. RE: Growth Mindset - Your Experience? - Edmond Dantes - Apr 25, 2026 Mindset is really important. Proper mindset and dedication will help you achieve your goals :) |
