Learning reverse engineering - Skkathi - Apr 28, 2026 I want to learn reverse engineering can anyone help RE: Learning reverse engineering - notagh0st - Apr 29, 2026 (Apr 28, 2026 08:26 PM)Skkathi Wrote: I want to learn reverse engineering can anyone help You should know how to write software. Then pick a type of reverse engineering you want to learn, whether it be software cracking, malware analysis, game modding, etc. then deep dive. Depending on where you want to go with it, there are a lot of resources. For malware analysis, OALabs is great. For software cracking, there are a lot of CTF-type things to practice on. Game modding is the only one I personally do not know much about, but I know it's very popular and I'm sure there are some great resources. RE: Learning reverse engineering - goatzM1lk - May 30, 2026 I want to learn this also any recomended sources? RE: Learning reverse engineering - Dotexe - May 31, 2026 Start with x86 asm, compile small C programs and disassemble them then grab Ghidra for static and x64dbg for dynamic analysis and grind crackmes.one for practice. I'd also suggest to read Practical Malware Analysis when you feel ready and use REMnux VM as your sandbox, never touch unknown binaries on your host. |
