/Storm in convo - 7 - May 30, 2026
So,
Just a random idea to make convo a little more exciting.
Instead of /rain 10 1000 we could add /storm 10000 or whatever.. which randomly splits the rain into storms so someone could get 50 someone could get 5000 and so on.
Im sure its simple enough to add.
I wonder if anyone would like the randomness of this idea.

Ah so basically "/storm" would be similar to how a wildcard command would work. Instead of calling for specific UIDs, it would pull from the pool of available UIDs that are active in Convo at the time. This would be a very cool feature for Convo, especially for the Bytes whales.
If possible, it would be very useful and practical to have an exclusion parameter in there somewhere for UIDs that have been idling for more than say ~10 minutes. That way, you could potentially avoid raining thousands of Bytes on inactive members who are only there to Byte-farm /rains.

Can I ask is this an idea from something else like Discord or other forums?

Not speaking for 7 of course, but at least from what I've seen, I don't think so and am fairly sure this is a unique idea.
I've never seen Bytes /rains, or "Credits/Points/Bits/etc." /rains on any other forum that's similar to HF. Our Convo room is far more feature rich and balanced than almost any other forums chat box. And no, this doesn't come from native Discord. There may be some Discord bot out there that randomizes rolls, or spins, stuff like that, but nothing official by Discord, no.

No I havent seen the idea anywhere. Just thought it would make it more fun and random. Rather than just everyone getting the same.
