Your best bet is to offer services and receive payment in crypto. You also could stake crypto and make a passive income.

3. Be a scammer and extract value
I don't recommend #3.
#1 is becoming more and more difficult.
#2 has never been more obtainable with AI, just don't launch exploitable slop.

Get in early on upcoming layer 1 launches and be a builder and create value, simultaneously extracting some of it.
Usually there are massive gaps in infrastructure on brand new layer 1s where native builders and small teams can really make a name for themselves by capturing the majority of demand since there is no competition. Crypto is just like anything else: people have problems to solve, things they need to do, and to monetize it you just need to identify these needs and provide some solution for them.
Distribution is also probably the most important part of building anything in crypto. You can have the best tech but it's nothing if no one uses it. Some of the most successful projects right now are simply forks of existing ones with better distribution and incentive mechanics.
So I guess the answer to the question is build something useful.

I think having a skillset you can monetize is how you do it. I think APPS are the way to go and right now with ai vibe coding it's even easier. Look into new crypto projects, maybe find ones with a certain user base and try to create wallets with services directed at new markets.
