Quantum Miners - Borris5ranked - Jun 24, 2026

If I bought a quantum miner from a non-public sale of assets and it was off market and is considered off market would it be legal?

Say it mines crypto 100 pH/s and makes $50 a day at 1.2kW would this be a worthy miner? Just at the cost of $600 crypto? What makes the legality use legitimate?

Because I asked deep seek about legality and it said it'd be legal but useless and that it would make pennys a year.

I tried googling miners that mine peta hash but nothing pulls up besides an $8k antminer.

What makes it fall under rules of regulation to sell and distribute?

Because mining is coal mining. And Bitcoin mining is rig/cpu. You can trade crypto but can't find off market miners like these with out deep web. Or cracked versions of sorts on GitHub.

Does not exist. You're going to get scammed.

Peta hashing? Or quantum miing? Both?

I'd say both, though I haven't linked at ASICs for a couple years at least. 100 PH/s and quantum mining seem sketchy. A real quantum computer requires an operating temperature of < 1 °K, so I don't think you'd be running any kind of quantum computing at home.

Yep, doesn't exist: https://coincodex.com/article/33302/bitcoin-miners/.

Petahashes are real. A hash is one "guess" at the block, and hashrate is just how many of those guesses you can perform per second.

1 PH/s = 1,000,000,000,000,000 of those guesses per second. A single top ASIC does ~336 TH/s, so ~3 of the top ASICs on the market = 1 PH/s.

And there are plenty of operations running dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of these ASICs, so there are plenty of small operations that are already in petahash territory. There are even medium to large sized operations that are in 100 PH/s territory, these rates are real and achievable. What's not achievable is a singular mining device outputting these rates.

What's also not real is Quantum Mining. Even if we found ourselves in a post-quantum landscape today, quantum only gives a square-root speedup on hashing, which even cheap ASICs would still smoke. Quantum threatens bitcoin's signatures, not its mining. The entire idea of Quantum Mining is make believe and will never become a reality.
