Highest Processor Laptop Speeds - Borris5ranked - Jun 27, 2026

I know nothing about computers or very little about them. I was seeing what laptops have the best and highest processing speeds out there.

I found a miner https://github.com/HugoXOX3/PythonBitcoinMiner but I want to get the best out've my budget.

What's all out there because you cant take processors out and upgrade them or can you?

Or does ram matter for this miner?

I don't know too much about miners but I know this would end up costing you more in electricity than you would end up earning. You can upgrade and change processors as long as the board is compatible with it, upgrading the ram would not change the outcome either.

Why laptop? PCs are technically more efficient with more power for mining.

Plus mining is most efficient on specific mining made GPUs. Not CPUs

Wake was being charitable. I know that you know better than to mine Bitcoin with a freakin' Python script, but maybe you don't know solo mining. The network difficulty for Bitcoin mining is expected to be about 127T today. In other words, it would be better to put your money in the lotto than a Ryzen Strix Halo laptop with a Ryzen AI 395+ CPU. You would probably have a better chance of being struck by lightning, twice, many times over, than mining a block on any laptop CPU.

And that's still under-stating the truth.

That project appears to be mainly for learning and experimenting with proof-of-work, not for earning meaningful money. RAM will not make much difference, and processors in most modern laptops cannot be replaced. Buying a powerful laptop specifically for Bitcoin mining probably would not be worth the cost, electricity, heat, and wear on the machine.
