Proper black hat learning - GigaWigga - Jul 8, 2026

I want to know the basics of black hat hacking
Specifically, the starting point would be OSINT information—such as usernames or phone numbers—leading from there to phishing or a pentest?
idk im not Jonathan James

Sounds more whitehat to me. But yes, learn the basics and how to do proper recon before you launch any attacks. Don't know what else to add.

thank you! , In reality, things that seem obvious aren't entirely clear. It's not like there's a clear path :/

There's no such thing as "basics" for blackhat training. Black hat is basically using the hacking knowledge in a bad way. That's it. However, If you want to start off learning hacking, I would say, Learn Networking, Windows and linux fundamentals and python to automate your stuff. Then move on to the next thing whatever you want to learn like web pentesting or whatever.
