Finally, vacation. - itcorp - Jul 10, 2026
Finally, vacation.
I seriously feel like I deleted my entire calendar from my head. That feeling when your phone stops buzzing, when you don't even know what day it is, when your biggest decision is what to have for lunch.
After all that craziness...just the sea, some wind in your hair, and absolutely nothing. No plans, no obligations. Just breathing.
And honestly? That's real happiness.

Enjoy it.
For myself, actual vacations which I leave the country are quite spaced, a couple of years in between, and I find it hard to switch into vacation mode when still in Ireland

Enjoy your well earned vacation! I feel you, I got back from mine Sunday and while I was on it, it was wonderful not thinking about work at all or stress. Just unwind and enjoy the time

Very much needed, I try to go on holiday at least once a year for a week and do nothing but sip drinks on the beach.

how long does a holiday have to be for it to be a vacation?
anything less than a work doesn't really feel like a vacation IMO.
