Hello, I want learn malware development - geoshot - Jul 13, 2026
Hello, HackForums!
I wanted to learn malware development because I want to sell malware to make a profit. I know some programming languages, such as C++, C#, and Python (if I'm not wrong). But one thing that makes me feel unmotivated is where and how you start malware development after you've learned the core programming logic. Where do you start?

Selling malware to make a profit? I suggest you invest your time and knowledge in something else because you're making much more profit doing so. If that's what you're after.
How to start with mdev? There are 100s of courses, simply google for them. If you are intermediate I'd suggest you pick up a open source project and read, familiarize yourself with concepts. There are thousands so there's not really a right or wrong, but in general follow the advice of those who teach.
YouTube is also a excellent source of visual focused education.

Thank you, sir. Also, I saw you wrote "sell it for profit." What I meant was I saw other services sell malware; I believe they called it SaaS, I believe, and I just got that idea in my head, but like you said, there are ways to invest my time in something else to make more money.

Yeah, but that really isn't comparable in profits compared to running a rather middle of the mall service. That and the legal risk, as a beginner and probably younger person I'd suggest you spent your precious time learning how to make apps or other services. Twice as much fun if you'd ask me!
