Let's talk about OPSEC... - geoshot - Jul 14, 2026 My story and my mistakes: I was in a stupid group, "Red Team," full of skids hacking government websites, which is stupid, and they started bragging about it and had their own website. It tells a lot about them, and they forced me to swat some kid with a false reason, and I said, "No, that's wrong," and they started being childish and doxxed my whole family. I don't really care; I reported their website to the FBI, and their website got seized, and I started getting a lot of DMs about "Thank you for saving my life," and someone in their staff snitched, whatever. How I learn from my mistake. Well, opsec has a simple term: it's shut the fuck up. For example, you cannot just tell your teacher I cheated on my math test, or she or he won't give you credits, or you cannot just go up and tell everybody you robbed someone; it's all common sense. And one more thing, it's always those new-gen opsec kids: You know those kids say I am hiding from the feds and the government. Buddy, you cannot hide from the government; they have been having computers before us. They have so much knowledge and resources then on HackForums or whatever. The only thing OPSEC is good for is hiding from doxxers and threats or more, but you cannot hide from the government, though. When you were born, every mom needed to sign your name on a government paper sheet, for example, Social Security. Tell me your mistake I will love to hear it Tell me your story and how you improve |
