Hey everyone! It's great to be posting here again. I hope you're all doing well. Today I wanted to bring up something kind of funny that got me thinking because this afternoon I saw two guys who were... a little peculiar.

Do you remember those middle school days when you first got into anime, manga, Japanese music, food, and all that? Do you remember how you acted back then and how some of those interests influenced your behavior a little?

I don't mean this in a rude or mocking way, but I think it's still kind of a nostalgic topic to look back on. A lot of people went through a phase where they were really into Japanese aesthetics, snacks, food, music, and even the language. But, of course, most of that "knowledge" came from anime and similar media. You'd see people talking in an exaggerated way, randomly throwing Japanese words into conversations, or acting like their favorite anime characters.
Do you remember having a cringey phase like that? Or maybe you never went through it yourself. Did you know someone who did? Any funny or embarrassing stories? I'd love to hear them! :3

i was acting normal back. I was just watching because i enjoyed the shows.. Didnt have a crazy "fan" phase with anime in particular

Dude, it is bad to say but the Cringe stuff we used to do back then just kills me inside a little bit when I remember it. But on the plus side I made life long friends from it.
We all went off the deep end and hit up multiple Anime Cons every year. Was wild, and a lot of fun but so damn Cringe.
