Because God prefers the decimal system, which has a base of 10. ππ
If God had preferred octal, we would have only eight fingers.
And if God had favored binary, we would be walking around with just two fingers per hand.

Haha sorry I misread your post and had to edit out my comment. I thought she had six fingers per hand, but my math didn't math and I visualized 7 fingers per hand for some reason. Good tickler she would have been. π
