I am very active on other forums, but I'm trying to be more active here. The UI has always been scary (so many buttons) but I'm trying to get the gist of it. For my joke it will be both that and a story behind it from many years ago. Myself and a few friends have for a long time been playing RuneScape on and off, but one of them is by far more into it then the rest of us, plays a ton every day, etc. One day we're all in Discord together and that friend gets asked by another friend if he saw the news about the new Mind Goblin quest in RuneScape. If you're not familiar with the game, goblins and quests are both pretty basic and common things in it so naturally between that and how much he is into the game, he took the bait with ease. He repeated back to my friend "Mind Goblin?". At that point I can only imagine the evil and excited look that came over my friend's face that set the bait while knowing he was about to hit him with the punchline. "Mind Gobblin these nuts?". It couldn't have been a more perfect target or setup and not a single one of us saw it coming so we all busted out laughing like we hadn't done in a good while. Bare in mind as well that while I know those sort of set up jokes are pretty common or a lot more so nowadays at least, none of us had ever done them to each other so it helped with a lack of suspicion and also made that first time of one of us being hit with such a joke from each other all the more hilarious.
