Are MMOs DEAD? - IWantToLearn - Aug 9, 2026
Tried to play some nostalgic mmos like Nostale or Aion and I saw basically dead games... The player base in end game is either shopping and entire check or botting like crazy. Do you guys play something and u find it funny? 'Cause I'm scared I've lost all the fun D:

I don't think they are dead perce' its just that with the extensive booming of MMORPG (and the likes) it became obsolete and people tends to switch and explore new horizon preferrably due to human system's propensity of eliminating boredom out of their ordinary routine.

This. Right there with you, lol. I've been kind of burnt out of it lately but I'll dive back in soon. You never really quit Runescape, you just take breaks.

OSRS as the other guy said, it is THE ADDICTION of a lifetime. Try playing as an ironman. It's the most fun I've had in years.
