[HELP] In need of a Cybersecurity LLM - Rick4pex - Sep 3, 2026

Hey guys!

I have been using the Daybreak Blue model for cybersecurity tasks, such as enumeration, writing exploits, making writeups, audit reports, and solving lab machines.

It has been working great! It has been able to solve lab machines with zero user input. I just told him the IP, connected it to my Kali VM, and it was able to solve most of the tasks.

Well, now I have ran into a bit of a wall- Codex reintroduced the 5 hour token limit, which makes this practically unusable. With the 5 hour limit I can't even use it as a copilot for pentesting, because it eats up the 5 hour limit soo fast...

Soo, I'm in dire need of an LLM that
  • either has a desktop app and can access my local files,
  • or a completely local model that would run great on my RTX 4080 (16GB).
I have tried reading reddit and other forum posts, but I havent really found a model that would suit my needs. My other best bet would be upgrading to Pro, but 100 bucks a month is just a bit too much for me right now. Could be doable, but I would rather use a cheaper alternative.

Haven't tried Daybreak Blue model, as I usually just get open source abliterates models from hugginface. Might trying there? Plenty of cyberSec llms
