What's the best purchase you've ever made for under $500? - m1000 - Sep 15, 2026
Maybe it's a certain sports card to your collection or a new PlayStation. Maybe it's that sweet new TV you wanted for the other room, or a piece of furniture for your living room. What's the absolute #1 best thing you've ever bought for less than $500?
For me, it has to be my dog. He's a rescue and I paid $300 for him. Nothing beats that!

That's a pretty solid flip, but is there anything more sentimental or meaningful that you'd put in your top 3 under $500? 😎

Great choices. What do you typically hunt for?

I'll post pictures eventually but I bought a very clean 1988 Mercury Cougar off of the original owner for $400 awhile back. I ended up doing some light repairs on it and flipped it for $4K.
