WPS Pixie Dust Brute Force Attack - theprox0517 - Sep 20, 2026 I've been trying to use WPS Pixie Dust Brute Force Attack on many wifis around but I just receive request timeout. So I am wondering if there is another specific tool that I need to use that perhaps I don't know about. I've been dealing mostly with INFINITUM wifis, Totalplay, HOME, from Mexico. I was expecting these to be really easy targets but I underestimated it. Do some specific routers have some default WPS pins that I can try by default? Is there possibly any new exploits out there that we can try using? I'm just wondering what you guys use in these case scenario nowadays. RE: WPS Pixie Dust Brute Force Attack - DramaKing - Sep 20, 2026 Anything made in the last several years should have WPS disabled. No OS can even use it. If they don't, they should use random keys with strong ratelimiting. You need WPA2 hashes. And a really good cover story. RE: WPS Pixie Dust Brute Force Attack - theprox0517 - Sep 20, 2026 I checked and none of them have WPS locked which means it's technically possible but what I'm thinking is some of you may be using new strategies to go around the timeout requests like possibly changing MAC address or any other. Some router use a list of preset wps pin, most will gen a new one every connection attemp and set a ramdom pin. With the right pin it usuly connect almost instantly and some will lock the wps if too many try. You also need a adaptor with monitoring and packet injection to make it work |
