This is the Lounge Head award. It is earned by making 500 posts in The Lounge section here on HF within a 30 day window. You can see your progress towards this award on the Award Goals page here - https://hackforums.net/awardgoals.php
If you don't have the award yet, this month during Octoberfest is the best time to get it. Every year Octoberfest here on HF brings the most activity you'll see in The Lounge section versus the rest of the year. That means more threads to reply to, more posts from others on threads to reply to, and in turn a much easier time working towards the award. Not only that, but Octoberfest brings an award of it's own every year in the form of a pumpkin and that can be earned from similar posting requirements. This means you can kill 2 birds with one stone. Making posts and working towards 2 different awards in the process. Take advantage of this opportunity while you can! Good luck!

If you have any interest in getting it whatsoever, take full advantage of this time while Octoberfest is going. It will make it immensely more easily obtained and at a much quicker rate.

Definitely the best period in the year to go for the lounge head award ! Even tho the requirements have been lowered (300 for the Octoberfest, and 500 for the lounge head award)

Yeah normally you'd have to go for 500+ posts anyway and so they went hand in hand perfectly. I'm sure no one will be complaining that they only have to do 300 posts for the pumpkin this year though haha. Despite that lower post requirement as well, I imagine the increased activity will still be all throughout most of the month and so those needing to get another 200 posts for Lounge Head can do so much easier all the same.

Same exact thing for me and so that's why I push people all the more to do it during this time. If you can work towards 2 awards at once, why wouldn't you? Obviously this is proven to be the best time to go for Lounge Head anyway too.

Yep, this is definitely the best time to grind! I'm hoping to see more new members putting in the effort to earn that Longhead award for their accounts. It's such a great award to have and definitely worth grinding for!
