Webpush Notifications (nodejs) - Omniscient - Oct 9, 2026 I'm past the hours and hours of fixing PHP errors. I've installed the TG Notify system. I have now installed NodeJS and working to rebuild a better notification system. It should be more comprehensive and extensible than what we had. I'm building it from the ground up. So far so good. I expect tomorrow it will be working. It's initially going to only have 4 notifications (PM, thread reply, quote, and mention). But the plugin is being designed so that hooks will exist for me to add more notifications to other plugins. Which is better than how it is now. Example is that Hackuman code was inside the old notify plugin. Meanwhile HUM is disabled. Architecture matters to me. Once this is complete, I expect Convo will be next. Oh also a big deal, WS is now working on port 443. That's going to really help member get past CF issues with the websocket. Thank you. RE: Webpush Notifications (nodejs) - DemonAsylum - Oct 9, 2026 Glad to hear this is coming along well. It will be really nice having on-site notifications back. Hopefully convo isn't too far behind that either. Thanks for the update. RE: Webpush Notifications (nodejs) - Omniscient - Oct 9, 2026 Bell is back but having JS issues, working to resolve it now.
