Toothpaste - Fish - Oct 12, 2026

Anyone have a preferred brand?

Let me tell you about a recent story I have with toothpaste… was using Colgate deep clean as my old one was discontinued. After a few weeks I started to get a sore mouth, peeling, etc. after two months - it finally hit me. The toothpaste… did some googling and apparently this is a common issue with this toothpaste…. In fact, it was recalled in certain parts of the world. Who would’ve guessed that this could happen and pass quality controls in 2026…

Crazy story, huh?

As long as it's not too minty I'm fine using anything.

I wouldn't believe I'd join hackforums and talk about toothpastes hahaha.

I can use whatever, I don't really mind.

One thing I know from a guy who worked at Colgate is that all the different types/models of toothpastes are literally the same product, and they are only changing the brand/packaging for marketing purposes.
Colgate Max White Ultra Active Foam, Colgate Sensation, Colgate Sensitive Instant Relief etc etc are literally the same thing.
