Narnia: The Magician's Nephew - DramaKing - Oct 13, 2026 The first trailer dropped today. What do you all think? Personally, I liken it to generative AI. It looks nice at first glance, but when you look closer, it's slop. It's like someone asked a chatbot to remake the story. The tone seems totally different from the book. RE: Narnia: The Magician's Nephew - Charlie Sheen - Oct 13, 2026 I had just saw the trailer pop up earlier, it wouldn't surprise me if it was 90% AI. I was just watching this panel where Nicolas Cage was discussing being black balled by Amazon for not signing an AI contract with them. I heard that he was going to think twice before doing any more movies with them because he was presented with an AI waiver. I thought that the last SAG-AFTRA strike resulted in studios agreeing not to use AI. I know that was a big portion of it, I remember going to a convention during the strike and they weren't allowed to talk about any of the films the actors were in. They did talk about the strike and mentioned the AI and how people are getting paid nothing to sell their likeness and that they were also fighting for health care as something like 80% of actors don't have health care and make less than $20k a year. |
