If you could become an expert at any skill overnight, what would you choose? - DryNode - Oct 13, 2026

For me, it would have to be programming. Not just mastering Python or C++, but understanding the whole damn family tree of programming languages and being able to use whatever the hell I need.

Now I'm going to overthink this... there's a bunch of skills I would love to master.

Probably be good at painting like airbrushing

I'd want my skills back I had when I played professional video games, I've obviously aged and lost skill overtime.

that's pretty cool though, what games would you play pro in if you don't mind me asking? I know for me the closest I got to competing professionally would probably be either running S&D back on like bo2, or when I dabbled in a good bit of FACEIT on counterstrike.. but got pretty dried out fast.

(kinda thinking of trying the Valorant scene idk)

Have you ever tried airbrushing? or is it something that you are currently doing?

I remember being on some type of social media and seeing people make dope airbrush shirt designs and stuff, or just using it for calligraphy (which is so damn satisfying to watch) now thanks to you, I'm going to go and watch a few :D

Programming, but my brain is not wired for this, I've tried many time, with Python and C/C++, even with scripting languages such as Powershell and Bash. I'm more comfortable with HTML/CSS, but that's not the same thing ^^'

That's pretty badass and I agree, Quantum physics is cool as heck, I know there's Youtube channels who upload WHOLE Quantum lectures from some type of college class I would assume.. many many times I would wake up and it sound like alien talk 😂

Programming is fascinating, but quantum physics intrigues me too. The concept alone is mind-blowing.

Chess. Playing lot recently and honestly mastering it would be a nice achievement. Would love to win the championship!

honestly man idk how people master any language at all 😂 it makes me hella jealous. HTML/CSS is still SOOOO good though it gives you a good foundation into getting in bug bounties and stuff.. especially if you know a little about javascript and HTTP protocols.

I know, it's amazing and so strange at the same time. Lot's of time you're like "wtf are they talking about".

I have actually started looking into quantum programming languages. And I saw this when it was released:
OQTOPUS (Open Quantum Toolchain for Operators & Users). It's the open-source software stack needed to build and operate cloud-accessible quantum computer systems.

Honestly i would have said programming/coding a few years ago.... but now anyone can be an expert coder or pretty much anything with AI. I mean still not 100% perfect but its getting there
