I remember this one time I was buying groceries and didn't bring enough cash with me since I was planning to pay with my card. Unfortunately, when I got to the cashier, their card payment system was offline. Talk about bad timing lol.🤣
I was already thinking about which items to put back when the lady behind me offered to cover the amount I was short on. I was a bit embarrassed at first, especially with people waiting in line, but she insisted it was fine.
It wasn't a huge amount, but I really appreciated her kindness. I thanked her a few times and honestly, I still remember that lady even though I never got her name.

It took me a moment to recall a good incident.
It was when I was in NYC on the subway and I was being attacked and the conducted came in and stopped it.
Oh and another time I was also being robbed and a stranger came in to help me fight off a guy with a box cutter.
Strangers potentially saved my life.

Praise God! I'm really glad those strangers stepped in and helped you when you needed it most.
It takes real courage to help someone in danger, especially when their own safety is at risk.
Good to know there are still people like that in this world!

I was in my young 20's. NYC was filled with danger for a young White man. Every attack against me was racially motivated. I wasn't terrified either. I always fought back. Adrenaline rush.

Sounds like you went through some really rough experiences back then 😎
Somehow, it's good that you were able to stand up for yourself, but still, those situations could have ended badly.
