Today’s question might be a little tricky. 😅
Would you be okay with having your wife as your boss at work?
What if your work circumstances forced you into that situation, with her giving you direct orders as your manager?
Or would you feel that it was humiliating?

I couldn't do it. Not for the reasons listed above but just because I would treat her as an equal and not above me so I would for sure get in arguements when that normally is not really allowed with your boss otherwise they would just fire you.

I would prefer to keep work and family life separate.

Its not necessarily humiliating, it is dangerous though. If you make a serious mistake at work it will presumably be your wife giving that corporate disciplinary, if you have to be fired etc. it will be your wife doing it, overall its a disaster waiting to happen for both imo!
