What Game Deserves a Remake? - Yin Yang - Oct 19, 2026
I really want to see either Vectorman or War of the Monsters get a remake. Both games have so much potential on modern hardware, and I think they’d be awesome to revisit.
How about you guys? What older game would you love to see get the remake treatment?

There was a game called Nemesis of the Roman Empire. I think a new version of it would be amazing, especially if they added online multiplayer.
Medal of Honor would be great too.

I remember when we used to play it at the internet café and say that the main rule was no snipers and no rocket launchers... Only the most skilled players survive!

I used to spend a fortune at internet cafés... They practically relied on me to pay their household expenses, haha.

Finding another person that played Vectorman is rare.
Remake wise, I would honestly love to see 007 Goldeneye get the time and attention it deserved. DLC for new maps, missions, and characters would be tremendous. I know there is the Xbox 360 remake that took place, but it never really went anywhere.
I'd also gladly take Jet Force Gemini with better controls.

I'd love to see a proper remake of the original Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. The atmosphere and the story were incredible, but the original PS1 graphics and camera controls are hard to go back to. With modern tech and a fixed camera, it would be a masterpiece.

Simpsons Hit and Run imo it was my favorite childhood game
I heard they were in talks to actually remaster it so we will see how that goes
