Weird Weird WEIRD problem!!!! - Effexion - Aug 26, 2010 Right where to start? My PC went off to shop a little while back, it came back upgraded from vista to vista ultimate. Shortly after I got a system32 error ( I know this to be OS malfunction ) and couldn't boot. I managed to get hold of an installation disk for XP pro and successfully installed. In the process I lost my ethernet drivers, but managed to download them off a mates pc, re-install and all is sorted. Apart from...... I downloaded simple port forward from its own web site. I went to run it and my computer rebooted itself. I tried again thinking it was updating the settings, and it happened again, I lost the drivers and had to re-install. Twice this has happened. Anybody care to shed some light? 😶 * - PurpleHaze - Aug 26, 2010 The copy of Vista installed is corrupt. If you have the license key just install a new copy, you can get the DVDs online. * - -Hyperion - Aug 26, 2010 like purple haze said it is messed up. If you don't I would either send it back or go buy windows 7 |
