* - Mr. Anderson - Sep 22, 2010

fuck, I didnt link it right, I'll redo it.

edit: fixed. and Adzz did you even try it? it does work, run it in a sandbox if you don't trust it :p

After analyzing I discovered that this file is infected with a RAT.

OK The application failed to initialize
properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK
to terminate the application.

Process: csrss.exe

Load-time Dlls: C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntdll.dll

This is a cybergate RAT. Do not download.

* - Mr. Anderson - Sep 22, 2010

WTF??? this isn't a RAT or any of that, I am a mod of vb-board and you'd think I'd post a rat?

you didint even download it, because I see teh download count is still at 0. so why don't you actually try it before posting this crap?

go right now and scan it with your virus scan. can't somebody confirm that it isnt?

* - Crazychaos - Sep 22, 2010

any proof it works a pic wont prove it

* - Mr. Anderson - Sep 22, 2010

if that was true, run it in a sandbox.
and look at my previous releases, no complaints.
I pm you the source if you really need to see it.

and why is everyone picking on me? I spend 3 hours coding and I get THIS. why don't you make trouble for Every One who releases a program on the forum?

0xc0000135 = NO FUCKING FRAMEWORK!

install some sorta version of the framework, or Learn to google the error code first b4 posting.

keep that shit up and you will earn a -3 for being stupid, not having ANY proof to back up your calim, AND not knowing your shit.

now!

since im here, im only busting this kids head about the error message, NOT saying that the file is clean or not.

see? the error code had nothing to do with a virus. bring some PROOF next time.

For fucks sakes, time for someone who actually knows his shit to check this. -.-

* - Charmz - Sep 22, 2010

I do know my shit... I know how a cybergate RAT acts, and it seems to act like that.

AND. It makes a process called "Process: csrss.exe"

A little suspicious huh?

* - Kōtei - Sep 22, 2010

Cool story bro, too bad you don't know your shit. It is clean.
Decompiled and no back doored code at all.

I did indeed scan this and it appears to be clean. I also monitored my HTTP traffic, as well as opened this in a sandbox, and it all appears to be fine.

Nice job.
