Port Fowarding Tutorial [With Pictures] - PURPPP - Oct 18, 2010 SeePlusPlus's Portforwarding tutorial with pictures (Noob Friendly). Yes i know there are already alot of tutorials on HF about portforwarding but i have yet to see one on my type of router so i decided to make one, hope it helps. Step 1: "Opening CMD". Click the start button and type "run" (without quotes) into the search bar. Spoiler (Click to View) Step 2: "Opening CMD". After step one a little window should have popped up somewhere on your screen called "run". Once that pops up type in CMD into it and hit enter. Spoiler (Click to View) Step 3: "Getting required IP's" After you hit enter a black box should have popped up, you will need 2 things from this your "default gateway" and "IPv4 address" to get these type in "ipconfig" (without quotes) and hit enter. For now all you need to worry about is the default gateway because you will be using it in the next step. Spoiler (Click to View) Step 4: "Forwarding Ports Pt. 1" To get to your router what you will want to do is type in your default gateway (the address you got from step 3) into your internet browser. If it requests a Username and Password they are you usually just both admin, admin. Spoiler (Click to View) Step 5: "Forwarding Ports Pt. 2" So for this step what you will want to do is somewhere it should say advanced setup or just setup, it might even just say portforwarding, but im going to do this along the lines of my router. So what you will do is click "Advanced Setup" and this should forward you to another page. After that you will look for another thing that either says "Portforwarding" or "Advanced Portforwarding" Click that and it should forward you to another page. Spoiler (Click to View) Step 6: "Forwarding Ports Pt. 3" After clicking Advanced portforwarding it shoud bring you to the actual port forwarding page, now this is where the IPv4 adress comes in handy. Whenever you forward a port and it asks for you LAN ip address, just put in the IPv4 adress choose your ports and so on. Once you get to this page everything is pretty self explanitory. Some aplications may require a certain port to be forwarded in TCP and UDP so you will have to type in the same port two different times for each TCP and UDP, after you fill out all the needed boxes just click "apply". Spoiler (Click to View) You Can also check if your ports have been forwarded, to do so just go to...
