Windows Corrupt. Trying to install from Ubuntu - Effexion - Oct 21, 2010
Basically my windows is somehow corrupt. On start up it just keeps logging me off windows and I get the run .DLL has stopped working etc etc. I am looking to get windows back and fortunately I have Ubuntu installed from a while back when I was planning to learn. I have the Vista ROM as an ISO on a disk, I am just looking for instruction on how to proceed.
Any help will be greatly appreciated as always,

Get a Windows boot CD. Then go to BIOS and make CD your first boot device. After this is done boot from the Windows CD and format the old partition with Windows. After that partition is formated continue with installing the new copy of Windows on the same partition.
