Hack windows admin pass - Daltronic - May 29, 2009

I hooked up an internal hard drive to my linux system, I can use it for storage and access the files, but i don't know the pass for the windows login (dual booting).
if anyone has tools or a method to crack the pass for the windows XP login, please help.
Need a method that wont erase the hard drive or delete any files.

boot in Windows - safe mode , option with command prompt ( f8 on keyboard, usually)
and type in cmd net user
click enter
you'll get names of users , look the name for administrator account (for example tommygi ) and type next:

net user tommygi *password

you'll get prompt to put password , so type any password that you want, next prompt will be to confirm password, and after success message, you have way to go in the system. If you don't want password at all, go to control panel, users and remove password.

or you can locate and delete SAM file and login with blank password (windows 2000), or use Ophcrack live cd, or hirens boot cd, one of tools have option to reset password...
