My ISP repeatedly cannot find hackforums.net - Orgy - Nov 28, 2010 Multiple times today, when trying to access HF, my browser is redirected (by my ISP) to dnssearch.rr.com/?q=hackforums.net&con=nxd, where it says "Sorry, we couldn't find hackforums.net" Just thought I'd bring it up, in case it's a DNS problem that needs to be fixed. Not sure if anyone else is having the problem, I didn't see any threads about it. EDIT: Just happened to me again, here's a traceroute: Code traceroute to hackforums.net (69.162.82.251), 30 hops max, 40 byte packetsAll users having this problem, next time it happen, please post your ISP, Country, and a traceroute. If you don't know how to run a traceroute, open your command line (Most of you know this as cmd), type in traceroute hackforums.net (or tracert on Windows) and then wait for it to finish. If you're using the Windows command prompt, right click the screen, click "Mark" then highlight the entire traceroute and press enter. That will copy it to your clipboard. From there, just paste it here with your ISP and country. UPDATE: I seem to have found a temporary fix for Road Runner users. http://dnssearch.rr.com/?cat=pref&con=dns If you visit that page, and disable the first option, that should fix it. * - ★Cooldude★ - Nov 28, 2010 Who is your ISP? Is you internet access limited? * - Xerotic - Nov 28, 2010 Yea, there are some threads bout it. When that happens, just wait a few minutes. You should know of our current server problems, if not, refer to: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=852122 * - Orgy - Nov 28, 2010 (Nov 28, 2010 11:32 AM)★Cooldude★ Wrote: Who is your ISP? If you have no idea what you're talking about, please refrain from typing. Most likely the only one that will be able to provide any insight to this is Omniscient. * - Xerotic - Nov 28, 2010 (Nov 28, 2010 11:33 AM)Orgy Wrote: If you clicked the link, you'd see my ISP is Time Warner Cable - Road Runner.
