It is like an acid trip made of awesome.
The movies are.
I like the series. If you get into it like I did you will love it.
It gets REALLY hard to follow after a certain part.
It is my #1 favorite anime of all time.

same happened to me but i pushed through. it seemed to start off a bit slow but at episode 5 things got more interesting. have watched the series twice now. love instrumentality

Nope. I'm not the kind of guy who waits for anime to be good. It needs to be good from the first episode.

If you didn't like the series, maybe you could attempt the Rebuild version. Some of the character development is cut down, but it moves a lot faster because of this. The graphics are also much better than the original. THORA recently released their 1080p/720p version of the first movie. http://www.thoranime.org/?p=1182

It looks much better but I didn't like it. Not my bag baby.
