So Ŀucien Lachance is banned and no one knows why.
But I am wondering what happens to the section he moderates, the Science and Philosophy section. Is it just an anarchy, or will staff level moderators be moderating it? And when you report a post, who does it go to?

Well Saged is fairly active in that section, so I guess he can sort it out. Otherwise Omniscient may be in the development of selection a new moderator...

Moderators get banned, it happens. I think Omniscient may just leave the section to be, although it definitely needs a Moderator in my opinion.

When he gets unbanned he might become a mod of that section again.

I'm not in the position to answer this but from the looks of it, the ban reason states otherwise if you read between the lines.

He was a legitimate moderator. I want to know what rule he broke and why he was banned.
Is there going to be a new moderator for that section?

He's no longer fit to be the section moderator. His ban is for about a week so he'll be back soon but not with any mod powers.
