As far as conflicting with your other anti virus protection , it depends what kind of shields you got enabled, if there trying to block the same things and function the same it may conflict. There is a option in SAS to disable or enable its real time shields also with your anti virus protections. Good share Dis. * - Agent Shark - Dec 4, 2010 Updated Thanks Epidemic :) * - ProfessionalCriminal - Dec 5, 2010 Quote:You cannot have more than 1 Anti-Spyware as it WILL conflict with each other and may cause system failure. Hi Disruption, Actually, you're wrong there. You can have as many anti-spyware or anti-malware applications as you like. Since this and other tools of this such sort are one-off scanners, there's no means for conflicting results. There have been a few incidents reported where anti-malware/anti-spyware tools which have active protection enabled have conflicted with each other, however, for the most part, it's not an issue. The fact is, you'll be fine with more than one anti-spyware application. Thanks, Malware Boss * - Chebyshev - Dec 5, 2010 You may also want to add some another one of SAS's capabilities. There is a portable version of it that has a .com extension, so it is able to combat viruses that don't allow the opening of executable files or installation of software. |
