What happened to this section and are there any future plans with it?

Omni removed it since its now officially a english site I think.

I think he removed it when he was going to sell the site, and never re-added it, if i remember correctly.

1) It got removed because the staff members couldn't understand what was being posted, so rule breaking was easy.

it was easy to break rules by posting in other languages.
omni removed it since not all staff can read other languages.
english is now the official language of HF.

Staff cannot moderate it since there are too many languages, so I doubt it will be back.
