All the scene release groups music are posted their, they say its being hit with thousands to millions of bots.

Why would a virtually unheard of site be ddosed with 1 million bots, when you could basically ddos wikipedia, fbi, and mpaa and riaa at the same time...

Depending on the length of the attack, the real botcount und some other factors it is possible that over a million IPs were attacking this server.
Just think about the changing IP which leads to that YOU have to pick no-ip to get a botnet (And some even fail at this step).
