Now Recruiting Requirements
What are the Red Lions? The Red Lions are a group of high quality members who will work together to make HackForums a better place. We will veil the marketplace, report spam, illegal products, sales trashers and the desires that signify the discomposure of Hackforums. We will help each and every member with the aspects of Hackforums, by knowing all rules, policies, and everything within the Help Docs. We will understand and verse in your subject areas. The Red Lions are expected to conduct maturely forum-wide, with no exemptions. We do not endorse of trolling, along with members who flame consistently. We've gained what we have given, that is respect. With that we turn average members into Red Lions. * - SIM-2434055 - Sep 2, 2015 Name: ZigiDev Age: 14 Country/State: United Kingdom In one paragraph, describe your personality: I'm someone that picks up on things and learns how to do things very easily. I can also be very stubborn at times which does not help with arguments. I can be supportive with people If wanted to Rate your grammar, on a scale from 1-10: 7 What are some of your skills?: Programming How can you contribute to the group?: Help towards Programming projects for members within the group. Links to any contributions:
How much time can you devote towards group activities: Not sure as I'm unsure what they are. * - Ninetales. - Sep 2, 2015 Woah, a RL recruit thread. Didn't think I'd see the day. * - Obli - Sep 2, 2015 What are some of your skills?: Debating, being an annoyance, did some pretty private psychological stuff that I can tell you guys about but in private. How can you contribute to the group?: Discussing stuff with people, helping them understand themselves, their issues, other's issues, and being supportive overall. I'd just be the guy hanging around, a benefactor of our age... haha. Links to any contributions: None of large importance, but I was the first marketer for OMC, did a lot of trading, did a few giveaways, etc.. Reason why you want to join?(take some time to fill this section): I don't really know. Back in the day, I knew that all groups were corrupt, aside from yours, and I'm saying this with no intent to dickride you, but that's the whole reality of things. You guys seem like people I'd like to frequent; Not doing anything 'overkill', like extreme presence over HF, and giving away stupid stuff, but doing things that matter, helping out people for the sake of helping, and not for the sake of the group's name; Helping people, because they're people, and not because the group's membership implies this as a mandatory thing. I knew that Red Lions was the only really 'decent' group, not because nokia is fucking loaded IRL, but more because I never saw any corruption (I saw corruption within ALL groups aside from fbn, and I've seen my good share of things), and people never had any hidden intents; as insignificant as I may come off, this was always something, or at least, the 'one' thing I wanted to accomplish on HF, I want to be a part of it. If you review my previous posts, you'll notice I only really recently came back to the forums, I'm not trying to excuse lack of contributions, or activity for that matter, but what I am trying to say is that my intents are more 'honest', and true to the group's purpose, than the intents of someone who applies providing a list of giveaways for l33ts and ub3rs; I've done that, I mean, I've made plenty of giveaways, but then again, those giveaways only indicate to complete hypocrisy as people use them, or well, used them to acquire reputation. In short terms, I want to be a part of you, because I believe that we may hold similar ideals. I don't really care about the userbar, wouldn't really apply only for a shiny bar under my name, but being a part of something like that is... well, the only real purpose I find on this forums. Being true to yourself, to others, and not a hypocritical abusive member is my top priority. How much time can you devote towards group activities: As much as it's needed. Name: My friends call me Liu. Age: 24. Country/State: Originally from Canada. In one paragraph, describe your personality: Defeatist, narcissistic at times, devolved into debates and discussions to the point of being a bit aggressive but in a respectful way and in good spirits, supportive, gentle and kind to the people who deserve it... Let's see... deductive, analyzes everything that goes around, keeps a check on other people, and goes into their thinking patterns to understand their next few steps forward in time. A good friend to those who prove to be of worth, and biased to the end to those who offend his loved one. Other than that, I'd say that I'm like your average Joe, outside of those characteristics. Rate your grammar, on a scale from 1-10: 8. I know how to write and all, but I'm sure that at some point I'll make a stupid mistake; although mistakes like 'should of' 'could of' do annoy me, I'm not likely to point those out at any given time except if it's really pressed on. * - Velozity™ - Sep 2, 2015

A solid and decent community of nice people who just simply help each other, because that's what the world needs at this time, as its filled with hate, trollers and such. Also I get a cool userbar. How much time can you devote towards group activities: Every day, Guaranteed at least more then 3 - 4 hours weekdays. * - Truth - Sep 2, 2015 What are some of your skills?: Programming, Marketing, Lion, lyin How can you contribute to the group?: Truth Links to any contributions: This is one Reason why you want to join?(take some time to fill this section): Logo looks nice How much time can you devote towards group activities: as much time as the leader for sure. Always helping around as it is which I'd continue to do in the name of the group. Links to any contributions: (I'm most proud of these ones. For more, check my threads)
How much time can you devote towards group activities: I'm rarely offline and reachable whenever. I have no commitments other than Uni so I'm going to say plenty. Name: Andrew Age: 18 Country/State: Turkey/United Kingdom (long story) In one paragraph, describe your personality: Definitely one of the quieter types but I love making friends and working as a group. Huge believer in sharing knowledge and the best way to learn is from each other. Many come to me for advice and help so I see myself as an approachable & friendly guy. It's why I make everything I release 100% open source as everything should be up for discussion/improvement. That said, I consider myself helpful to all which probably explains why 1.3k of my 1.6k posts are in the .NET section. Rate your grammar, on a scale from 1-10: Almost 9 Edit- updated with my new thread I was talking about. * - Balloon - Sep 2, 2015 Best of luck to all applicants. * - Raymond Reddington - Sep 2, 2015 I don't have any "real" or "notable" contributions to the Forums or I would;t have missed this wonderful recruitment. Not too often they recruit. * - Fʀᴀɴᴋɪᴇ - Sep 2, 2015 What are some of your skills?: Networking (Real life human interaction) Social Engineer (I am not talking about the kind that tricks Amazon into sending me a new laptop. I am talking about the kind that can get myself a job or make powerful connections with real conversation.) Problem Solver (I'd like to think that I usually come up with a creative and strange way to fix problems in my life. I don't like traditional methods of resolving things. How can you contribute to the group?: Honestly in whatever way they need. My schedule is a bit tight so I am limited on time however I do have resources and will remain active on and off throughout the winter. I would like to change that perception and view the people have on the group a little bit and bring some life to it. Although I do not have every day to devote to the forums like I used to, I am still relatively active. I am eager to participate in whatever the group is going to be doing next, seeing as though a good start was making a recruitment thread. I thought I might as well take advantage of this opportunity and submit an application. How much time can you devote towards group activities: As much as I can for now, as the winter season approaches I will have more and more time to put towards whatever need be. For now I am working over 115 hours a week. Name: Frankie Age: 18 Country/State: USA In one paragraph, describe your personality: Relatively easy going guy. Reason why you want to join?(take some time to fill this section): Red Lions is the most respected group on hackforums, i would like to see it active. How much time can you devote towards group activities: Most days. * - SIM-2015410 - Sep 2, 2015
Name: MeshColliderMeshCollider's Application Age: 17 Country/State: New Zealand In one paragraph, describe your personality: I would describe myself as slightly introverted, I consider myself intelligent, and I learn quickly. I have a good sense of humour and enjoy spending time with friends. I really enjoy learning new things, a lot of subjects interest me, and that is probably why I like computer science so much - it is an area of growth and research, and there is always more to learn. I also love learning languages, mathematics, sciences and philosophy to name a few. I always put effort into making my work the best it can be, I try hard to manage my time well, and I am not motivated by money or fame - rather I am motivated by knowledge. Hence, I do not sell any projects on HF but instead work in groups to learn and help others simultaneously. I would say I was mature and respectable in all areas, I do not troll or flame, instead I look to assist others wherever I can. Rate your grammar, on a scale from 1-10: 10 (I am an editor for the HFNT) What are some of your skills?: I can code in multiple programming languages (including languages from OOP, imperative and functional paradigms). I have a good knowledge of computer security and 'hacking'. I also know quite a bit about cryptocurrencies, as alluded to by my involvement in the Omnicoin Team. How can you contribute to the group?: Activity, member quality, and participation in projects are the things I can offer. I enjoy partaking in group discussions and activities, and would be an active member in the subforum. I would continue to produce tutorials and assistance, thereby reflecting well on the group. I will also happily help out with group projects (as long as they are in areas related to my abilities). I believe any member of Diving could vouch for the fact that I am one of the most active partakers in group communities and discussions. In your group description, you mentioned that you work together to make HF a better place. I believe I also contribute to making HF a better place. I have helped report many members/posts breaking site rules including members attempting to infect others with malware. I have never had a scam report against me, and easily meet all the requirements you listed. I have shown below that I have already given a huge amount of time to this forum. Overall, I am a very active, friendly, helpful and HQ member. Links to any contributions: Hacking Tutorials Largest introduction hacking tutorial on HF: [TUT] MEGA HACKING TUTORIAL! I want to be part of a group which has a good history, a high quality member base, and a promising future. By the fact that you have opened up a recruitment thread, I can tell that the group is aiming to grow - so I want to be a part of it. I don't just join groups for the userbar, I join them because of what they can offer me and I can offer them. To be a part of Red Lions is a symbol of prestige, and all the members I know in the group are HQ, so I would love to join your ranks. How much time can you devote towards group activities: I have a busy schedule, I am sitting full time university at the same time as my final year of school + scholarship subjects, so my free time varies from day to day. In general, though, I will be able to find time to participate actively in the group and its activities, and will let you know if there are periods of time I may have to be inactive for. Thank you for reading and considering my application. I put a lot of effort into this, so I hope I am accepted 🤝 |
