I think its a great workout and an attention puller. Can be better if parkour includes some of the tricks that tricking has to offer.

I was training in Parkour for a 3-4 years, I had a successful carrier in it, I was motivated, was moving in the gyms & had a great body workout.
But I had many injuries as well, last time I've felt in street on double back flip and result was that I broke both of my knees.
I'm doing flips even today, but not tryharding anymore, doctor said that "If you didn't had such strong knees, you would never be able to get up again"

Well, i think that if parkour is usermode rootkit, than Tricking is kernel mode rootkit :)

As far as sports go, it would have to be one of the less-stupid ones.

And at least you can then use those skills to become a master thief when SHTF.

It looks fun as fuck but I will probably never ever do it.
I am not really that agile.

I was training Parkour for half year, it was okay, but i've stopped when I tried to do somersault or salto, I don't know how it's exactly calls, and when I tried, I had an accident, after this i stopped :<

Personally, I don't do parkour but I think it's cool as hell and props to the people who do it. But please avoid making your self look like one of those autistic guys. Just don't be that guy.
