The best thing to honestly do is just to either get a vpn or change your ip.

To block your self from a simple ddos attack just get a strong VPN.

Hmm. I have heard the term 'ddos' before, but i never knew what it was... Could someone tell me exactly what it is?

Distributed Denial of Service attack. They basically take your internet down.

i think if you directly connect your computer or xbox or whatever you are using to your modem then idt you can go offline... im not 100 percent positive about this because i have never tried but i have heard many people say this before

If your bridge a connection from your computer, and use a vpn, it could help somewhat.
