Not sure though because its been forever. Definitely in my top 3 :) * - DeleteMyAccount - Aug 29, 2013 Tenshi Muyo!, Ah! My Goddess, Outlaw Star, Rurouni Kenshin, Inuyasha, Trigun, Evangelion, Dragon Ball Z, and Fist of the North Star. * - halfbakedrew - Aug 29, 2013 golden boy, OMG, Hellsing and DBz. These always take me back to child hood. * - XDaWNeDX - Aug 29, 2013 Lucky Star is WAY better subbed, you actually get a lot more comedy out of it. Even with the best translation, a lot is lost just because of japanese characters and lore. Not that subbed>dubbed or anything, but for lucky star definitely. I think that a lot of the anime I grew up with bring back a lot of memories - DragonBall, Yu-gi-Oh, Beyblade. And of the more recent anime that I've watched, Gintama has a HUGE nostalgia factor for me. Watching Gintama helped me through some incredibly difficult times, so there's a lot of emotional memories attached to the music and voices. I guess SAO kinda has that same effect, but it was much shorter so it only lasted a few weeks into my troubles, whereas gintama lasted a LOT longer. And of course, Bleach is what really started me into anime, so I definitely have some nostalgia with that. Just thinking back on how far into this anime stuff I've gotten into. But I typically get nostalgic at everything. I could probably go watch Toradora, which I just watched like 5 months ago, and get incredibly nostalgic. Just how I am. :P * - GammaG - Aug 30, 2013 DragonballZ really brings back the nostalgia that's for sure :D * - infamousnoone - Aug 30, 2013 ........................................ * - Garden of Sinners - Aug 30, 2013 It's nice to see the differences between what anime shows people find nostalgia in. Keep going since this list is a learning experience for me and I'm sure others will be able to learn off this list without making "I'm new to anime threads ;)". Thanks for all the current everyone it was quite informative. |
