I'm currently on Prozac (Started a month ago.) and I can tell you it has changed the way I act, a lot. I'm happy your mom got some medicine to help her, but be warned, the euphoric everything's good feeling goes away after a couple weeks and you start to mellow out, just a heads up.

I'm glad your mum isn't being a bitch to you anymore but you really shouldn't be happy she's now on prescription drugs, especially anti-depressants. Just because they're legal doesn't mean they don't fuck your body and brain up.

Tell her about Ativan, Xanax, or Klonopin. Or just some natural teas like Kratom or others.
Nothing good comes from Zoloft. I've had an unopen prescription for months, plus many other generics not open, their worthless, dangerous, and harmful.

I was on Zoloft for about a year and it fucked my thought process up heavily.
I'd tell her to switch to something else.

The first couple months helped my depression (I assume that's what you take it for, can also be used for anxiety) but after the third month or so I felt really dependent on it. If I forgot to take it I'd spiral back to square one until I got it in my system again. I'm also fairly certain it has some pretty bad long term affects on your serotonin levels which is why I manned up and quit taking antidepressants all together.
