I'm currently on Prozac (Started a month ago.) and I can tell you it has changed the way I act, a lot. I'm happy your mom got some medicine to help her, but be warned, the euphoric everything's good feeling goes away after a couple weeks and you start to mellow out, just a heads up.

Zolft has many many side effects, one common one is serotonin syndrome. I would bitch my mom out if she took this.

Tell her about Ativan, Xanax, or Klonopin. Or just some natural teas like Kratom or others.

Nothing good comes from Zoloft. I've had an unopen prescription for months, plus many other generics not open, their worthless, dangerous, and harmful.

The first couple months helped my depression (I assume that's what you take it for, can also be used for anxiety) but after the third month or so I felt really dependent on it. If I forgot to take it I'd spiral back to square one until I got it in my system again. I'm also fairly certain it has some pretty bad long term affects on your serotonin levels which is why I manned up and quit taking antidepressants all together.
