* - Brule - Jul 23, 2014 I've had many problems with PayPal, but what have happened to you is just dumb of PayPal. They should be ashamed. Really hope you get to sort things out and get you and your family's money back! They will lose customers over time. * - Κord Ζrieza - Jul 23, 2014 This is true I remember hearing about this. You guy's be careful. Niggas is hating out here. * - Sky - Jul 23, 2014 I think this is pretty funny, but that's because I'm not a fan of Booters. Also you can't complain, you're breaking Paypals ToS by selling a stresser using their payment system. You agreed to their ToS on signup, don't whine now you've broken them & they are taking action against you. I'm pretty sure Paypals legal terms & their hundreds of lawyers would stand up better than your defence in court saying "I told the skids who signed up to my site to only DDoS their own servers." ~Arcane π€ * - 0x - - Jul 23, 2014 (Jul 23, 2014 12:52 PM)Sky Wrote: I think this is pretty funny, but that's because I'm not a fan of Booters. I decided to go through the PayPal ToS and AUP and there's nothing that specifies "Booter or Stresser" https://www.paypal.com/ca/webapps/mpp/ua/acceptableuse-full https://www.paypal.com/ca/webapps/mpp/ua/useragreement-full It does say this, "You may not use the PayPal service for activities that: relate to transactions involving (a) narcotics, steroids, certain controlled substances or other products that present a risk to consumer safety, (b) drug paraphernalia, © items that encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to engage in illegal activity, (d) stolen goods including digital and virtual goods, (e) items that promote hate, violence, racial intolerance, or the financial exploitation of a crime, (f) items that are considered obscene, (g) items that infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, right of publicity or privacy or any other proprietary right under the laws of any jurisdiction, (h) certain sexually oriented materials or services, (i) ammunition, firearms, or certain firearm parts or accessories, or (j), certain weapons or knives regulated under applicable law." Let me clear this up, a Booter or Stresser is not an illegal service. Many companies uses these type of services to test their own network security. It's out of our responsibility what the client does with the service but if we can prove they're miss-using the service, we have all legal rights to suspend their service. Now, amplification is indeed illegal as it states due to accessing DNS's that you're not authorization to even access in the first place. But some Stressers/Booters uses their own DNS or even uses a cloud infrastructures to simulate an attack and that's what we're leaning to at Network Stressing. Look at http://www.nimbusddos.com/ https://www.blitz.io/ or http://loadimpact.com/ for example, they offer Network Stressing with Denial of Service or Distributed Denial of Service attacks, the only difference is that they own their servers. So right there, we did not break any of the policies at PayPal, US or PayPal, CA. * - Aceman - Jul 23, 2014 Congrats, stresser owners were already doing this to eachother. When I was part of a stresser team we went through 3 in the same week having went through 7. Sad but it is against PayPal's ToS. * - 0x - - Jul 23, 2014 (Jul 23, 2014 01:10 PM)Aceman Wrote: Congrats, stresser owners were already doing this to eachother. Almost anything in this world could cause illegal activities, but are we supporting it or encouraging it? No, we're not. Like every ticket we receive, if it's about attacking something you're not authorize to, we suspend the account immediately. Our goal is not to be like other stressers where they let their customers attack other members or servers. We actually want to encourage the use of testing your own server to make it secure and have a friendly environment instead of worrying of your server/service going down. Did these past stressers really fuck up the SST community for you guys that bad that you think every one of them is for bad usage? * - Aceman - Jul 23, 2014 (Jul 23, 2014 01:29 PM)0x68 Wrote: Again, read the post. Are you really that ignorant? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell you that a stresser being advertised on Hackforums is obviously going to facilitate illegal activities. I'd be surprised if even one person used it on themselves or on targets which gave authorization to be DDoSed for their entire subscription length. It just doesn't happen which you and I both know to be true. By all means though, if you wanna play big dog in court with PayPal then I'd love to hear the outcome. π * - The l33t hax0r - Jul 23, 2014 Good. Maybe know the skids with booters will die off. Or you know, you could stop being a dumb shit and only use cryptos! inb4negged * - 0x - - Jul 23, 2014 (Jul 23, 2014 02:17 PM)Bobby Orr Wrote: Good. Maybe know the skids with booters will die off. We're going to encourage a lot more payments from PayPal Competitors. The only reason a lot of people uses PayPal is because they were one of the first online payment processor and that everyone has trust in. But slowly and slowly, people are realizing that PayPal isn't like years ago. * - Krew - Jul 23, 2014 Uhm, we all know what you are selling and what it is for. You going to pull that lie in court as well? * - The Professional Hacker - Jul 23, 2014 2 things you can do here. 1 You change your Paypal IPN system that hides payments coming from your site. This works by redirecting your website to a buy page off site that auto updates your MYSQL DB after the payment. For example that does this method http://titaniumstresser.net and http://quantumbooter.net It would be nice if someone on HF can offer to do this for booter owners for a small fee you know. ππ 2 You do know everyone with a booter has the God power to permanent limited any paypal account in the world! Paypal wont do anything about it or give there account back. Been scammed ? Did you pay the user with paypal ? Go add his/she paypal email in your lovely booter and sit back put your feet up watch the show. * - Aceman - Jul 23, 2014 (Jul 23, 2014 05:43 PM)The Professional Wrote: 2 things you can do here. Doesn't stop the chargebacks by thirteen year olds saying "I bought a stresser from this guy and it wasn't as advertised". |
